20130613123139ASTANA. June 13. KAZINFORM Slovenia opens its market for Kazakhstani businessmen. This has been announced at the Kazakh-Slovenian Business Forum by Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Karl Erjavec in Astana today.

In his words, some of the largest Slovenian companies have already branched out into Kazakhstani market and established contacts with the local business circles. In addition, Slovenian and Kazakh entrepreneurs are in the process of setting up joint ventures.

"We are trying to attract mainly small and medium enterprises to cooperate with our Kazakhstani partners. By creating favorable business climate, we want to increase the inflow of direct foreign investments in order to create new jobs," noted Vice Prime Minister of Slovenia Erjavec.

The Slovenian delegation to Astana numbers reps of 40 largest companies from various fields: construction, pharmaceuticals, medicine, food industry, IT technologies, etc.

The sales turnover between Kazakhstan and Slovenia made $117.4 in 2012.
