On Tuesday, 8 January 2013, Acting Director General Mr Janez Podobnik and the President of the Panslovenian Shareholders' Association, Mag. Kristjan Verbič signed a Memorandum of cooperation between ICPE and VZMD (Panslovenian Shareholders' Association) to further increase the synergy between both institutions and to strenghten the cooperation on the international level.
The Memorandum is also going to increase the connection with ICPE and two investors channels: Invest to Slovenija and International Investors' Network, which was already established at ICPE & KEN International Conference on Benefits and Challenges of PPP's through Energy Efficiency. The main goal of the cooperation is to develop mutually beneficial projects that will foster the ties between ICPE Member States and international institutions, where VZMD is an active member, such as WFI, EuroFinuse, Euroshareholders as well as their 55 national organizations of shareholders and investors. The key aspects of cooperation are in the field of active shareholding, education and promotion of social responsibility.
